The Aliquam project begins in Pliego to improve the employability of vulnerable groups (13/12/2018)

The objective is to provide more resources for employability, reinforcing the search and carrying out training actions to achieve more opportunities.

This December, the ALIQUAM project to improve employability in the mule river region starts, an initiative financed by the IMAS and the SOCIAL EUROPEAN FUND will develop COPEDECO S.COOP in collaboration with the SOCIAL SERVICES COMMUNITY OF RIO MULA, which covers the municipalities of Pliego, Albudeite, Bullas, and Mula, and to which the City of Campos del Río also joins.

All this with the fundamental objective of providing these areas with a series of resources that facilitate the improvement of the employability of collectives in situations of social vulnerability.

ALIQUAM collects an extensive program of actions that will be developed until May 31st, including the implementation of individualized insertion itineraries, work orientation and community social care.

Another aspect to highlight is the labor prospecting, which will seek coordination with the business sector of the region through the local development agencies of each of the 5 locations in which the program will be developed.

In parallel, various training actions will be carried out aimed at improving the training of participants in areas such as job counseling, new technologies, labor skills as well as equal opportunities and gender perspective.

Likewise, with regard to job training, the module of Auxiliary Operations in the control of agents causing pests and diseases is envisaged, which enables the obtaining of the phytosanitary product handling card.

The requirement to be able to access this program is to be of working age and to be referred by the municipal social services, where people interested in participating can find all the necessary information.

COPEDECO is a cooperative of non-profit social initiative that for more than 35 years has been turning its work into work with children and groups in situations of social vulnerability, an experience now put at the service of the ALIQUAM project.
