Without going any further, focusing on the municipality of Pliego, which has approximately 5,000 inhabitants, is located in the region of Río de Mula.
In its central Plaza Mayor, we find "EL Casino", a bar with 200 years of history, where four generations have run the place, which remains located where once.
Hardly has undergone any reform, being virtually intact its original structure.
Everything began at the hands of the great-grandfather, after passing to the grandfather, following later those of the grandson to finish today in the great-grandson.
The man who today narrates with nostalgia, how he helped his father, being only a child and on top of a wooden box, poked his head behind the bar.
A thousand anecdotes that he has to tell his clients, remembering past times, with a lot of affection.
Four walls full of stories and history, where they have undoubtedly been a mandatory stop for both neighbors and visitors, who have come over all these years to delight their palates, with products from our land.
Culture and tradition, added to the beauty of the geographical environment.
Let's not let emblematic places like this disappear like many others in our region.
The roots of our customs and peoples should be our great heritage.
