The mayor of Pliego highlights that "the financial health of the City Council is good and this economic stability allows us to address new and necessary challenges for Pliego"

The Ordinary Plenary of the month of January 2019 approved the General Account of the Town Council of Pliego with the favorable votes of the Municipal Socialist Group and the abstentions of the Popular Municipal Groups and Citizens.

This General Account corresponding to the previous fiscal year complies with all the legal requirements required, as shown in the reports issued by the Secretary-Controller, and which appear in the record of its approval.

Specifically, compliance with budgetary stability projected by the State for Local Entities was recorded and compliance with the purpose of the spending rule was demonstrated.

The documentation that was delivered to the political groups includes all the accounting information, both of the settlement and of the general account of the 2017 Budget. Likewise, in the municipal offices the accounting supports have been found, which could have been examined during the public exposure term.

It should be noted that no member of the opposition consulted these documents.

The budgetary result shows a surplus of € 168,980, with a positive treasury surplus for general expenses of € 920,226.98.

And all this corroborated by a reality in the existence in cash in cash of 966,166.33.- €, on December 31, 2017, as it appears in the Acta de Arqueo.

As data to highlight also the high degree of execution of the budget is appraised with a 91.05% in the state of income, and 85.46% in the one of expenses.

The mayor of Pliego stressed that "we are facing a general account that is clear and transparent, and yields a very positive economic-financial result and that provides stability and confidence to address new challenges for the Municipality of Pliego."
