The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Barnabas, said today that his department, through the Directorate General of Highways, analyze the possibility of improving road RM-515, which connects the town of Pliego to Alhama de Murcia.

So it passed today by the Minister to the mayor of Pliego, Ramona Jimenez, who came accompanied by the Town Planning of the City, Carlos Garcia, during a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works to discuss projects of interest to the town .

Barnabas stressed that the road "is very important for the town of Pliego, as it runs through the urban fabric, but also for the whole region Mula River", which is formed by the municipalities of Albudeite, Mula, Campos del Rio and Pliego and its connection to the Valley Guadalentín through Alhama de Murcia.

Also, other improvement projects were discussed in regional roads in the municipality, such as the installation of pedestrian crossings.
