The investigation began last July, when the Civil Guard became aware of the commission of several burglaries, some facts that caused some alarm among residents of the municipality of Pliego.

The Civil Guard found certain similarities in the crimes investigated, both in the methods used to access the property, and the location of the homes raided.

The research carried out allowed focus research on youth group, residents of the municipality, which had been seen loitering suspiciously in any of the areas where robberies were committed.

With this information, the Meritorious arranged a series of security services that helped identify the suspects and relate authorship of the crimes under investigation.

Recently, and once obtained the necessary evidence, the Civil Guard has arrested four people, three men and a woman, three of them minors, in Spanish and Romanian nationalities, and residents in Pliego as alleged perpetrators of the crime of burglary .

The group leader was carrying children up homes

The research carried out has allowed to find out that minors were transported in a vehicle driven by the group's leader, to its 'objectives' homes that had previously monitored to verify the absence of residents.

Once in place, they had access to homes to steal all kinds of objects easy to carry as computer and electronic equipment, tools and small appliances that later sold to third parties, for far less than its value prices.

The Civil Guard has completed the investigation with the disarticulation of a criminal group, consisting of four young men, one of them with a history of similar offenses, who are credited with, so far, the alleged author of the robbery committed in a home Pliego.
