The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment offers two new simultaneous exhibitions in Pliego by the artists Noemí Yepes and Mari Cruz Fernández, within the Plan of Exhibition Spaces.
The samples will be exhibited from September 1st (21:00 hours) in Sala Las Tinajas, located on the main street of the municipality, and can be visited until September 17.
The hours are from Monday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The creator Noemi Yepes presents the exhibition 'Eka Abassic', composed of sculptures dedicated to women and nature, which were exhibited in Santomera last May in the Plan.
For its part, Mari Cruz Fernández shows 'Landscape and Portrait', a composition of works based mainly on the portrait.
The director general of the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts (ICA), Marta López-Briones, stated that "Pliego is one of the twenty-two municipalities that until the end of the year will host the works of sixty local artists, Cultural fabric and giving visibility to the new creations that are being generated in the Region. "
"The Exhibition Spaces Plan brings society to the projects of local and emerging artists and spread their work and their artistic talent," said the director.
Trajectories
Noemí Yepes (Blanca, 1994) graduated in Fine Arts.
Since 2015 he has held fifteen individual and collective exhibitions in different Spanish cities.
Mari Cruz Fernández (Bullas) focuses his painting mainly on portraiture.
He specializes in various techniques such as oil, acrylic, etching, watercolor and pastel.
He has received several prizes in painting contests celebrated in diverse municipalities of the Region.
He has participated in individual and collective exhibitions, and also in workshops given by well known artists such as Pedro Cano.
