Once the agreement is signed, Noguera marks the next goal the refurbishment of a museum in the town of Pliego
The plenary session of the Town Council of Pliego has approved the proposal of agreement for the cession of use and the easement of passage and access to the deposit of La Almoloya that will be made between the City Council and the company that owns the Cefusa-El Pozo land.
After this approval, there is only the formal step of signing the agreement so that it becomes operational.
The transfer of the land was a fundamental step to be able to develop the possibilities to the maximum with different actions both in terms of research and tourism.
In this sense, the mayor of Pliego, Pedro Noguera, stressed that "now we can access different public aid both regional and national in which we were working and had as a requirement that the use of the site from the City Hall as it is to be now. "
Noguera thanked the willingness of the owner company to take this step and intends to make a national reference to a spectacular archaeological site of the Argaric era, which has found an important center of power, princely funerary remains and the one listed as the first parliament known in Europe.
And once this important step has been taken, Pedro Noguera proposes two next objectives.
On the one hand, the development of a coordinated and continuous strategy for the enhancement of the three pathways of research, cultural and tourism, and as a next objective the refurbishment of a Museum of the Villa de Pliego where to concentrate all the wealth and cultural interpretation of the municipality's extensive historical heritage.
