This week the commemorative workshops for the World Diversity Day at the IESO Federico Balart began under the motto 'Celebrate diversity'.
The students of 4th ESO and FP will have the opportunity to participate in dynamic workshops where they will work on values for good treatment among equals.
Currently bullyng or bullying is increasingly present in young people and that is why it is recommended by teaching professionals that awareness workshops and talks of specialists.
As has been proven, these interventions are more effective in schools to work on issues related to diversity because it is the non-acceptance of diversity one of the most important causes in relation to situations of bullying.
Respecting diversity is a requirement, a basic and fundamental requirement of any social system.
Therefore, it should not be thought that such attention should only be made on certain occasions but continuously and it should not be forgotten that the school population is part of a social fabric in which differences in the own classrooms coexist in terms of individual characteristics , race, ethnicity, sex, culture, ability, functionality, etc.
