The program uses gamification as a base, a learning technique that moves the mechanics of games to the educational-professional field
Next Thursday, January 24, 80 students from 1 to 4 of the ESO of the IES Federico Balart de Pliego will present in Cartagena the work they are doing within the GD Museums project, in a day that will take place in the Auditorium of El Batel .
This innovative educational program is based on the creation of Groups of development and preparation of materials for Museums, and aims to promote autonomous collaborative learning, creating useful materials for society and using ICT as indispensable tools.
It is a project that uses gamification as a basis, a learning technique that moves the mechanics of games to the educational-professional field in order to achieve better results.
The students enjoy museums as a learning space, research different aspects from different subjects of the school curriculum and develop their imagination.
In addition, this encourages collaborative work, since students teach other students, from their own center or from others.
The day that will be held at El Batel will serve to publicize this project, in which eight educational centers of the Region participate;
and show their results in a practical way, with the presentation of the progress made by the students.
Through this project, materials are being created for the Museum of the Huerta de Alcantarilla, the Arqva Museum of Cartagena, the Archaeological Museum of Murcia, the Santa Clara Museum, the City Museum and the Museum of Science and Water.
It will be in these spaces where in May a final test will be carried out to the students to make an evaluation of the work done.
