The street lighting has not been renewed for many years and has great deficiencies as evidenced by the audit carried out by the technical service
It is intended to renovate 645 luminaires and achieve savings in the short term for public accounts of 75% of energy consumption in street lighting
To initiate the integral renovation of part of the public lighting of Pliego, the municipal government has presented a descriptive report that includes the project that has to be carried out to improve energy efficiency.
To this end, the City Council has opted for the subsidy program for unique projects of sustainable growth for local entities that favor the transition to a low carbon economy within the framework of the ERDF operational program.
As it has ratified the audit that was made by the technical service, after spending more than a month mapping the whole installation of public lighting, the situation of the public lighting is not good since it suffers great technical deficiencies.
In our municipality there are a total of 1,030 lights and eight light boxes.
With this project the integral renovation of three electrical panels of the center of the municipality is realized, that are those that are in worse conditions.
In addition, the installation of all protection elements has been considered;
Grounding of all the included panels and their wiring with the corresponding magneto-thermal and differential protections.
This project aims to renovate the 645 luminaires of these three paintings.
The reduction of electricity consumption in public lighting of Pliego is expected to be 75%.
On page 15 of the Descriptive Report refers to two tables, one that presents the current scenario with a cost of three tables amounting to € 96,978.55, while the other presents the expected scenario with the replacement of equipment and with a cost of € 18,240.26.
With these numbers, the government team expects to achieve a significant saving of € 78,738.29 for the municipal coffers as soon as this new facility starts to service.
The total amount of the action amounts to € 489,784.37.
Of which the City is going to request a subsidy to fund lost of 391,827.49 € and that will suppose a municipal contribution of 97.956,88 €.
