Work has already begun on the different investments that will be made under the complementary framework of the Works and Services Plan by the Municipality of Pliego.
These actions seek to improve municipal infrastructures and meet the demands of different groups of the municipality that had made their transfer to the municipal government and through the different processes of citizen participation.
The Parque de las Cañadas will improve its surroundings even more thanks to the construction of a petanque court in the upper part of the park and a skate track in its lower part.
This project also includes other actions, such as the one that will facilitate the pedestrian connection on Carlos III Street, with the construction of a stairway to bridge the gap between this road and Rodriguez Ramos Street.
It also highlights the performances in the square where they will perform works of ornamentation of the fountains and the installation of the shield and a sign with the name of Pliego for a greater projection and beauty of this emblematic place of the municipality.
In addition, it will proceed to the improvement in the Evacuation of Pluvial and Sanitation of the Párroco Aranda Street to avoid the entrance of water in the garages of said street.
The term of execution of the works is 3 months, and have a budget of 42,762.69 euros.
Some improvements that come to complement others such as the arrangement of the Aduana street, the paving of the streets La Balsa, San Andrés, Avenida de Lorca and Carlos III;
as well as the installation of security pavement in the Carretero park and the improvement of the Los Pinos park facilities.
Works that, remember from the Town Hall, were chosen by the foliage through a process of citizen participation.
