The mayor of Pliego, Antonio Huéscar, yesterday held a working meeting with the Platform 'Pliego por su cine'.
In this meeting, the members of this platform presented their demands with the main objective of ensuring that Pliego can have a center to carry out cultural and recreational activities such as plays, concerts, etc.
In search of this goal, the platform moved the mayor who wants the winter cinema, which has been closed for more than 20 years, to be opened again.
This building located in the center of the town currently belongs to the Autonomous Community.

The mayor of Pliego showed all his support for this claim and said that "I join the fight that is being made from the Platform, whose proposals for the reopening of this cultural space have already been approved in a municipal plenary with the unanimity of All its members in 2015.
