The president of the Segura Hydrographic Confederation, Mario Urrea, accompanied by the Water Commissioner, Javier García and the Technical Director, Carlos Marco, has held a working meeting with the mayors of Mula, Juan Jes s Moreno and that of Pliego, Antonio Huescar, who were accompanied by Mart n Jimenez, president of the General Community of Irrigators of Sierra Espuña and Francisco Mart nez president of the Community of Irrigators of Fuente Librilla. At the meeting, the mayors wanted to know the status of administrative proceedings that affect both irrigation communities, especially the irrigation perimeter of the Irrigation Community of Fuente Librilla and also explained to the president of the CHS the hydraulic infrastructures that they have projected and that they intend to undertake soon to improve the system of exploitation of the resources by the General Community of Sierra Espuña, specifically a new regulating reservoir and a facility solar that allows to reduce operating costs of the Community and lower the price of water to the community members. The president has explained to them the administrative situation of the file being processed by the Water Commissioner. The General Irrigation Community has invited the president and the commissioner to a visit to the Community facilities in Pliego, the president has accepted the invitation that will be made when the health situation allows it.
