The Governing Council has approved a total of EUR 5,022,753 for works to improve road Boatmen, RM-C1, which connects this hamlet with populations Murcia Sewer, Source Librilla and Conditions.
This action will widen the platform and eliminate dangerous curves from the beginning of the road, next to the Mediterranean motorway (A-7), near the town of Sewell, to kilometer 8, after crossing the Channel Tajo-Segura, where four meters increase the breadth of the bridge beyond it.
This project includes improved access to roads and property around the track and the remodeling of the intersection with Highway RM-C19, which allows the connection to the A-7, which will incorporate speed change lanes.
Roundabout will also be built 33 meters inside diameter at the junction with the service lane of the highway and the String of Valencia.
With the implementation of this project, complete with appropriate drainage, reinstatement of services, signing and lighting, will be increased road safety and comfort of the half million journeys a year are recorded by it.
