The director of the Institute of Development (info), Juan José Beltrán, and the Mayor of Pliego, Isabel Toledo, presented the project of revitalization of industrial land in the municipality, which proposes the development of an area of 182,000 square meters and will enable the creation of the business park 'The Tavira', designed to accommodate the current and future demands of local businesses.
This initiative is part of the Strategy for Revitalization of Industrial Land in the Region of Murcia, sponsored by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, with lines of incentives to support the drafting of those planning and management tools required the proposals contained in the Guidelines and Plan for Industrial Land Planning of the Region of Murcia.
In particular, the wording of the Partial Plan for Industrial Land in Pliego has a total budget of 57,120 euros, of which the Autonomous Region provides 50 percent through the info, in aid programs Revitalisation of industrial land.
During the presentation of the project, Beltran said that with this new equipment arises a unique opportunity for the municipality, as "the List will have a floor space orderly, balanced, urbanized and equipped to give out to the demands of companies that exist today and new ones, enabling the generation of wealth and employment. "
It is expected that the partial plan is approved within a maximum period of one year, after which they carried out other acts of administrative nature, prior to the development of enterprise space.
Project tailored to business demands
The future estate of 'The Tavira', which will have a flexible development adapt to future demands, initially intended to order the current existing business facilities in the area and provide adequate space for local companies installed in the town have a specific and adequate space for development.
'The Tavira' have, in addition to floor for enterprises, equipment area and a green area, including gardens and recreational areas integrated.
This polygon is made possible by the adoption of General Plan Municipal Urban Planning in 2009 by the City of Pliego, which envisaged the creation of an industrial space.
