The Director General of Local Government and the Mayor held a meeting to discuss the various projects underway
The Director General of Local Government and Institutional Relations, José Antonio Blasco, visited the town of Pliego to know the different actions taken by the Community, through the Ministry of the Presidency, which has invested 1,185,601 euros in this location in the recent years.
Blasco had a meeting with the mayor, Isabel Toledo, and his administration to analyze the development of the actions undertaken in the town and try to advance the projects implemented.
The CEO explained that regional investment is intended to perform a series of works necessary for the town, which allowed basic condition and renew infrastructure and improve the delivery of municipal services.
Specifically, the Plan Works and Services, with an amount of 190,140 euros subsidized, has enabled the paving and urban improvements in several streets of half-Pliego, like Olivera street, Independence, Dos de Mayo, Cooperative Bidding Carlos III, Perito and Pallas and Saavedra, in the last three years of the plan.
These actions add up the dressing and renewal in Water Street, including the Basic Infrastructure Plan and provided with a grant of 188,733 euros.
