A total of 23 people, residents of the town of Pliego, participated in one of the training activities developed by Abraham Project, in collaboration with the community and the local council, in order to help manage social networks and new technologies in active job search.
Through these courses, students are able to develop skills in the organization and management of information management, the basic use of word processing tools and tools 2.0 and an introduction to the main social networks used in Spain.
Abraham Project contributes to this, in the development of programs to combat social exclusion and poverty launched from the Region of Murcia.
The CEO of Social Policy, Leopoldo Navarro, stressed the "important work" being carried out from the partnership and emphasized the "contribution of such courses in the fight against social exclusion" as well as his "utility to the world of work. "
During the presentation of diplomas to students, Navarro, accompanied by the mayor of Pliego, Isabel Toledo, said "such actions are critical to continue the comprehensive support to immigrants, children and people at risk and / or social exclusion.
