The Municipal Socialist Group Pliego has filed a motion in the Municipality of the town, calling for an end immediately from Isabel Toledo in his duties as mayor.
The motion argues that the PSOE no final judgment rendered by the Superior Court of Justice of Murcia sentence profession Toledo to disqualification from public office for an offense under the Penal Code, Chapter crimes against the Public Administration .

Secretary General of the PSOE in Pliego, Mara Martinez said that according pronouncement of the Central Electoral Board, this article operates ex lege with immediate effect from the time that the assumption of no firm conviction against elected official is given.

"For Isabel Toledo is between crimes against Public Administration and therefore subsequent inegilibilidad becomes concerned for public office in the incompatibility with institutional position he holds in this case, the mayor of the town of Pliego" Martinez said.
Pliego Socialists consider the full City Council must officially released this situation, since the above effects are inevitable fulfillment, must take account of the facts referred to the City Clerk, in order to proceed with the necessary formalities for declaration of incompatibility the mayor, and could incur criminal liability otherwise.
