On this day, Wednesday, July 30, 2014, the Deputy Status Committee and the Political Activity of the Regional Assembly of Murcia has met for the allegations made by Deputy Isabel Toledo against the agreement by the said Committee at its meeting of July 21, 2014, which was considered affected by any circumstance of incompatibility for legal tenure as deputy of the Regional Assembly of Murcia, in light of the recent judgment of the Superior Court of Justice Murcia.
The Committee examined the report of the Legal Services of the Regional Assembly of Murcia respect to such claims, in proposing that they be dismissed.
Based on these reports, members of the Status Committee Deputy unanimously agreed to maintain the original agreement, whereby Isabel Toledo is inconsistent to maintain the status of a regional deputy.
The opinion of the Commission will realize tomorrow Permanent Committee of the Assembly.
After this procedure, the agreement will transfer to the Central Electoral Board, requesting certification of the person from the list of parliamentary group of the constituency number 4 should replace Isabel Toledo.
