Investigators have seized hundreds of plants and more than one kilo of dried marijuana ready for sale

The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed an operation to pursue and prevent drug trafficking which has culminated in the dismantling of a point of growing and selling narcotics at a residence Pliego.
The investigation has resulted in the arrest of hundreds of cannabis sativa plants and more than one kilo of the dried and prepared for sale, in addition to the arrest of two people suspected of crimes against public health substance drug cultivation and processing.
Agents specialized in the prevention of public safety research began to detect a strong odor of marijuana coming from a building in the resort town.
Once located the suspect housing and obtained all necessary evidence, the Civil Guard has made judicial approval, the entry and search of his home under investigation, which have been found and seized hundreds of marijuana plants in various growth stages and over a kilo of dried marijuana.
Modus operandi
Those arrested, a young couple from the town, had arranged one of the rooms of the house as a summer greenhouse plants, which later moved to the terrace of the building, where continued growth.
In the same room had a portable dryer where the process is finalized and distributed in individual packaging.
In the intervention were seized tools used in growing, processing, packaging and distribution of drugs, such as two greenhouses, a portable dryer, humidifiers, halogen lamps, fertilizers, fungicides, and various tools for weighing and handling.
After registration has proceeded to the arrest of two residents of the house a man and a woman, Spanish, 34 and 35-year-old suspected of drug trafficking crime.
Those arrested, seized effects and the proceedings have been brought to Court of Instruction No. 2 of Mula (Murcia).
